I wanted to love, and USE this mat, but it's just too slippery! The material it's made from provides very little traction for even low-key Hatha moves, and trying to do a Vin flow with a side-plank was hysterical for the people around me to watch, I’m sure. I was sliding everywhere! Definitely NOT for hot yoga if that's your thing. I did try to gently clean the mat before my first use and it did not help at all; it actually removed some of the coloring in spots. I'm glad I didn't pay full-price, but truly disappointed even for what I did pay. Great looking designs from this company, but they need to revamp the actual purpose of the mat- grip.
