This was a Christmas present. Following is from the recipient: I have to do chair yoga, and I was looking forward to upping my game with cork. They are advertised as 1 pound. I can lift them, but I can’t do much manipulation with them. Holding one between my forearms is nearly impossible. They are beautiful-just ss I expected, but I am terribly disappointed. Everyone I talked to says that it would benefit the user to be lighter. Maybe the block could be smaller all around. Either way, iI would am very disappointed and keep trying to decide whether or not to return them-so hard when a gift,
