I like how the round shape keeps my Animal Flows inbound, encouraging better technique. I am wishing the mat were a tad larger for Animal Flows, but this is no fault of the mat. I am 5' 8", and a newbie so I am all over the place. Round shape is great for this. For those who are wondering how sticky it is - as long as you take the time to wash off the manufacturing oil (this is a very thin coating of oil you cannot see or smell), it will likely be plenty sticky. I scrubbed a damp towel over it then left it on the floor to get dusty and walked on. Get it dirty (use it!) and you will have no issues with stickiness. That said, I do not sweat much and often have liquid chalk on my hands. There is an obvious tackiness to the mat. It had zero chemical smell when unwrapping, a nice plus. The padding is adequate. Someone who is taller may find the Liforme Original Yoga Mat (not the shorter travel one) a better fit simply due to the longer length (but you give up the round shape). I am glad I found this! Cannot comment on durability as it is still new to me. Looks like it will hold up.
