Overall this mat is fine. It is really slippery when you first use it...I've used it about 6 or 7 times now and after wiping it down multiple times with different cleaning solutions it's finally gotten a bit grippier, but I still find myself sliding around while in downward dog, etc, which is obviously not ideal for a yoga mat. It's also a bit thinner than I was expecting, so it doesn't offer much padding for knees and other sensitive points. That was probably my bad for not double-checking the thickness, but it seems like it's too thin for any person to use comfortably. I'll still use this mat, but if I were purchasing again, I would probably invest in something a little more high quality. This mat is pretty cheap which is good for folks on a budget, but again it's kind of shown in the quality of what you get.
